Angel L. Mendez

Warren - Angel Louis Mendez, 35, died September 25, 2017 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Angel was born November 24, 1981 in Youngstown, a son of Angel Mendez and Donna Donley (Cogswell).

He was a Chaney High School graduate. Angel worked at General Motors for the last 4 years. He was a diehard Michigan Wolverines fan and enjoyed working out.

He is survived by one son, Angelo Mendez of Cincinnati; his mother, Donna Cogswell and step-father Rick Cogswell of Warren; his father, Angel Mendez; siblings, Tony Pagan, Hector (Shannon) Pagan, Justin Davila, Edward Donley, and Mikkita Longmire, all of Warren; and step-siblings, Jamie Ainsley, Brian Cogswell, and Toni Cogswell; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, and cousins who he was very close with.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Donley; great-grandmother, Nana; and his Uncle Paul.

Services will be held Monday at 11:00AM at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring St., Struthers. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends and family will be received Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Monday from 10:00-10:45AM at the funeral home.
