Struthers - Wilma Catherine Tiller, 83, of Struthers, died Thursday evening at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.
Wilma was born May 11, 1928 in Boardman, a daughter of William and Gladys Hendershot May. She was raised in Austintown and came to Struthers 1951.
A 1946 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, Wilma was a homemaker. Before her marriage, Wilma was a comptroller for Ward Bakery in Youngstown. Wilma was a volunteer for St. Elizabeth Medical Center. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, auctions and shopping at thrift stores. Wilma especially enjoyed spending time and cooking her specialty, Corned Beef Brisket for her children and grandchildren.
Her husband Obie Tiller, whom she married August 7, 1951 died January 7, 1999. Wilma leaves one daughter, Barbara (Raymond) Repasky of Struthers; two sons, Robert Tiller of Boardman and Thomas (Karen) Tiller of Whispering Pines, NC; three sisters, Vada Reel and Freda Kochera both of Austinown and Janice (Robert) Wehr of Arlington, TX; one sister-in-law, Mildred Brintzenhofe of Beaver Falls, PA; eleven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Interment will follow at the Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
Friends will be received Monday from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at the funeral home in Poland.
