Youngstown- Wilma R. Kopp, 90, died September 25, 2016 at her residence.
Wilma was born November 14, 1925 in Campbell, a daughter of John Kopp Sr. and Mary (Vegso).
She was a 1944 Struthers High School graduate. Wilma worked early on at her families grocery store, Kopp's Market in Struthers. She went on to work as a clerk at Aebischer's Jewelers in Poland for 28 years, retiring in 1997. Wilma was an excellent artist and made rosaries for missions. She was a member of St.George Byzantine Catholic Church. Wilma also was a caregiver for her father, mother, and sister, Magdaline.
She is survived by one sister, Irma Mackin of Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Zetts, John Kopp, Jr., Joseph Kopp, Frank Kopp, Magdaline Smolko, Elizabeth Petko, Irene Bass, Major Albert Kopp, and Emil Kopp
Liturgy will be held Thursday at 1:00PM at St. George Byzantine Catholic Church, with Fr. Richard Lambert officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received one hour prior at the church.
