North Lima - William Wayne Snow, 78, died Wednesday morning, May 15, 2013 at Hampton Woods Nursing Center.
Mr. Snow was born June 19, 1934 in Washingtonville, Ohio, a son of Benjamin W. and Margaret (MacAndrew) Snow.
He was a 1952 graduate of Leetonia High School. Bill first worked for Demmings in Salem and retired as a foreman from Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical. After retirement, he worked as a janitor for Penn Ohio and McDonald's on the Ohio Turnpike.
Bill's hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening, and playing bingo.
He is survived by his wife, the former Barbara Ann Codner, whom he married October 29, 1955; two children, Kevin (Jim Crooks) Snow of Akron and Barbara Snow II of North Lima; son-in-law, Mark Razo of Poland; four grandchildren, Beverly James of Canton, Anna Marie Frazzini of Hubbard, James (Treasure) Johnston III of Girard, and Joshua (Kristen) Johnston of Youngstown; and seven great-grandchildren, Collin, Mia, Matthew, Madison, Jared, Sophia, and Myle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Dianne Razo; brother, Robert Snow; and three sisters, Margaret Stewart Jordon, Helen Tibbets, and Jacquelyn Twitchell.
There will be no calling hours or services. Arrangements are being handled by the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman.
The family requests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Bill's name to his favorite activity at Hampton Woods Nursing Center, The Bingo Fund, 1525 E. Western Reserve Road, Poland, Ohio 44514.
