North Lima - William S. Lisko, 87, of North Lima, died Sunday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center in Boardman.
Bill was born April 13, 1924 in Youngstown, a son of Alexander and Elizabeth Kontz Lisko.
He attended Fairfield High School and was an inspector for Republic Steel for over 30 years. He was a former member of the Hungarian Reformed Church. Bill enjoyed fishing the local lakes, and was a fan of the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions.
An United States Army Veteran, Bill served in World War II.
He leaves his wife of 65 years, the former Clara DiSalle, whom he married May 4, 1946; one son, William (Alice Wheeler) Lisko of Youngstown; and one grandson, Brian Denoble of Austintown.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by brothers, John and Julius Lisko, his twin brother, Joseph Lisko; half brother, John Carter; and sister, Betty Koenig.
Privates services will be held at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
