William G. Park

William G. Park, 91 Washingtonville-William G. Park, 91, formerly of Petersburg died Sunday afternoon at Sterling House in Salem. Mr. Park was born in Lowellville August 11,1914, a son of Richard J. and Florence Johnston Park. He was a 1933 graduate of Struthers High School and was steelworker; and was in the painters union. He loved horses and enjoyed riding his bike five miles a day. His wife, the former Virginia I. McHenry, whom he married Feb. 7,1938, died Nov. 22,1991. He leaves a son Robert (Diane) Park of Washingtonville; and three grandchildren, Dawne Grubb of Kensington, OH, Suzanne Hoffee of Salem, and Robert Park Jr. of East Rochester,OH; seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Robert J.; and a sister, Ruth Sehnellbach. Funeral services will be Thursday 11AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8PM and Thursday from 10-11 at the funeral home.
