William Noble, 96 Services will be at 11 a.m. at Coitsville Presbyterian Church in Coitsville, Ohio on Wed., August 17 for William Noble who passed away Sunday at home in Coitsville. William was born July 19, 1909 in Youngstown, Ohio , a son of John & Pearl Craig Noble. He was a graduate of Sciencesville High School and attended Newberry College where he played football & basketball. He had numerous awards and accomplishments in the ABC & Brunswick Bowling Conference. He belonged to numerous bowling leagues and was nominated to the Bowling Hall of Fame. He finished his bowling career when he was 90 in the Holiday Traveling Seniors at Holiday Bowl. He also played baseball, tennis, golf & loved fishing. He and his wife Marjorie belonged to several square dance clubs. He was the oldest member of Coitsville Pres. Church and served in different offices in the church. He leaves his sons, Ronald [Valda] of Coitsville, David [Patricia] of Austintown & Paul [Valerie] of North Lima, Ohio. He also leaves 11 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren & 5 great great grandchildren. He leaves a brother, James Noble of Mercer, Pa. He worked in the Sheet & Tube during WWII, as well as farming. He was a mechanic, bus driver & retired from Rad Tank in Hubbard. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Marjorie Williams Noble. Also by his sisters, Wilma Strejan & June Sutton and three brothers, John, Joseph & David Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Davisdon Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, Ohio on Tues., Aug 16. Viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Wed. Aug. 17, will be followed by a memorial service at Coitsville Church. Rev. Roman Garrison will officiate at the funeral. The Family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contiributions be made to Hospice Of The Valley.
