William R. McNab, 65
POLAND - Memorial services will be held on Saturday at noon at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, for William R. McNab, 65, formerly of Cornersburg. He passed away Tuesday evening at Hospice House after a short, but hard fought battle with cancer.
Mr. McNab was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Youngstown, a son of John and Virginia Wright McNab.
He had been employed by Humility of Mary Health Partners in the surgery department, before retiring in 2011.
Bill was a former officer for DeMolay of Youngstown, and was awarded the Degree of Chevalier. He enjoyed golf, horse racing and gambling. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan. Bill and his wife loved to travel, and enjoyed learning about and tasting wine.
Surviving him are his wife and the love of his life, the former Joyce Sharo, whom he married June 11, 1977; his daughter, Kelly, and son-in-law, Nate Riegler of Chicago; and the newest arrival to the family, his grandson, Jack. Also, a brother, John (Roberta) McNab of Austintown.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 8536 Market St., Boardman.
