William Ray McClure

William Ray McClure, 79 Cortland- William Ray McClure, 79, died Wednesday evening at Saint Joseph Hospital. He was born in Struthers January 10, 1925, a son of James and Lattie Ross McClure. Mr. McClure was a graduate of Struthers High School. He retired from U.S. Postal Service and also worked for Ohio Security and AVI Food Systems. He was a veteran of the United States Army during WW II. He leaves his wife the former, Rosemary Sharpe, whom he married October 7, 1977; one daughter, Sara Sylvester of Leawood, KS; one son, Duane Michael Hunt of Cortland; one brother, Philip Jay of Struthers; 8 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Hunt; one daughter, Jean Vinroe; and two brothers, Harold and Edwin McClure. There will be no services or calling hours.
