William T. "Bill" Maizel

William T. âa�A"Billâa�A� Maizel-74 POLAND-William T. âa�A"Billâa�A� Maizel, 74 of 2259 Country Lane, died Friday morning at the Greenbriar. Mr. Maizel was born September 22, 1931 in Struthers, a son of Frank J. & Anna V. Berletic Maizel. He was a life long area resident, except for the 10 years he lived in Ormond Beach, Florida. He had worked as a Security Superintendent at LTV Steel for over 30 years before retiring in 1991. He was a 1950 graduate of Struthers High School, a Korean War Army Veteran, where he received a National Defense Service Medal and the Army Occupational Medal. He was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church, Ohio Police Association, and the Sulgrave Lodge No. 696 F.&A.M. in Poland. He was a former member of the Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. Mr. Maizel was an avid fisherman, golfer and loved hunting. He is survived by his wife, the former Carol Pratt, whom he married September 22, 1951, a son Gregory W. (Wendy) Maizel Sr. of Ormond Beach Fl.; Douglas B. (Diane) Maizel of Lowellville; Timothy T. (Brenda) Maizel of Melbourne, Fl; seven grandchildren, Starr M. Maizel-Wagner; Kristin Maizel; Gregory Maizel, Jr., Matthew Maizel; Corey Maizel; Seth Maizel, Sarah Maizel and a mother-in-law, Cathryn Pratt. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, William T. Maizel, Jr., Kenneth Maizel; and two brothers, Frank A. Maizel and Donald R. Maizel.
