William J. âa�A"Gooberâa�A� Laverock, 52 Campbell- William J. Laverock, 52 of 8 ½ Robinson Road, died early Friday morning at his residence. Mr. Laverock also known as Goober was born September 6, 1952 in Youngstown, a son of William and Mary Bray Laverock. He was raised in Struthers and lived in the area all of his life. A 1970 graduate of Struthers High School, Mr. Laverock was a United States Navy Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a former member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church, a member of the American Legion Post #472, and the Mahoning Valley Vietnam Veterans Association. Mr. Laverock is survived by two brothers, Charles (Joan) Laverock and Andrew (Kaye) Laverock all of Struthers, and 5 nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Wednesday, 7:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-7 PM.
