William Langenheim, 80 Youngstown- William Langenheim, 80 of 181 Clarencedale died Saturday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center. He was born in Youngstown Febuary 18, 1924, a son of Charles Langenheim and Elizabeth Lawson Langenheim. Mr. Langenheim was a carpenter for Local 171 for 50 years, retiring in 1984. He was a veteran of the United States Army in WW II, where he was a rifleman and was awarded a purple heart. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans and attended Trinity Fellowship Church in Boardman. He also enjoyed fishing. He leaves his wife, Theresa, whom he married June 28, 1947; three daughters, Diana (Ed) Byrdy of Liberty, Linda (Rev. Don) Monaco of Boardman; and Mary Jo (David) Mitchell of Boardman; one son, David Langenheim of Canfield; three sisters, Alberta (Harold) Leckburg of LasVegas, NV, Betty Foley of Boardman, and Ester Crowl of Campbell; one brother, James (Hattie) Langeheim of Boardman; nine grandchildren, Dena Derenzis, Joel and Jared Monaco; Kenneth, Justin, Chase, and Micah Hoover ; and Joshua and Alyssa Langenheim; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Jack, and Robert Langenheim; and two sisters, Annabelle Smart and Ruth Ripple. Funeral services will be Wednesday 11AM at Trinity Fellowship Church in Boardman.
