New Middletown-William C. Giblin Jr, 60, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. He was born in Youngstown on September 5, 1954 and was a 1972 graduate of Springfield Local High School.
Bill was the owner/operator of David Joseph Boilers for 41 years and for the last five years was a maintenance engineer with Dillard's Department Store.
Bill was an avid football fan and loved his Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed NASCAR, working on cars and fishing and was a friend to all.
He leaves his loving wife, Debbie Giblin, whom he married in 1984; his son, Billy Giblin of Columbus; his mother, Carolyn June Giblin of New Middletown; sister, Shelly (Nick) Nicoloff of Petersburg; brothers-in-law Barry (Dana) Brandt of Youngstown; Frank Weston of Lowellville and Karl Brandt of Lowellville; sister-in-law, Donna Brandt Schultz (Warren) of Edgewater, MD; nephews, Ronnie Snyder, Daniel (Susan) Schultz, Brandon (Laura) Weston and Ryan Brandt; nieces, Heather Snyder, Shannon Brandt, Kathleen (John) Leebel, Kristin (Todd Droegemeyer) Schultz; great nieces, Else and Adelle Leebel and Maddie, Sadie and Avery Schultz and great nephew, Quinn Schultz.
He was preceded in death by his father, William C. Giblin Sr and his nephew, Daniel Schultz.
Friends and family may call on Thursday (TONIGHT) from 4-8pm at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home 270 N. Main St Poland and on Friday from 10-10:45am with the funeral service to follow at 11am at the funeral home, with Pastor Rusty Wills officiating. Interment will be in Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
