William E. Drabenstadt, 78 STRUTHERS- William E. Drabenstadt, 78, of 271 Helena Drive, died Sunday afternoon at Maplecrest Nursing Home. Bill was born December 13, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of William and Georgiana Lentz Drabenstadt. He was a life-long resident of Struthers. He was a graduate of Wilson High School. Bill was a self-employed contractor. He was a member of and Sponsor for Alcoholics Anonymous since July 10, 1968. Bill had a love for all animals especially his dog, Buster. He was also a member of St. Nicholas Church. Bill is survived by his wife, the former, Delores Billock, whom he married on July 29, 1950; three daughters, Kathy (Melvin) Conner, of Akron, Laurinda (James) Mayor, of Youngstown, and Lisa (Jerry) Woods, of Pulaski; two sons, Billy Drabenstadt, of California, and Ronald (Tracy) Drabenstadt, of West Middlesex; 11 grandchildren and four step grandchildren. Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two sisters, Doris Higham and Mary Neiheisel. Family and friends may be received Wednesday from 5-8 at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where prayer services will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at the St. Nicholas Church, Struthers. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery. God saw you getting weary so he did what he thought was best. He came and softly whispered, come home and take your rest. Peace is thine and sweet remembrance is ours.
