William L. Cammack

Poland - William L. Cammack, 72, of Poland died Thursday evening May 23, 2019 at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. Mr. Cammack was born September 15, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio, son of Floyd and Mary (Emanuel) Cammack and had been a lifelong area resident.

He was a 1964 graduate of Struthers High School and had worked for the City of Struthers in waste management for many years. He was a member of the Struthers Gridiron and the Elmton Golf League.

William will be remembered by his family and friends as a kind, generous soul.

Besides his wife, the former Linda Zirkle, whom he married August 10, 1968 he leaves two sons, Robert (Christine) of Poland and William (Nichole Kermec) of Boardman; his daughter, Brandy Cammack of Struthers; four grandchildren, Emily, Billy, Elena and Sammy; a sister, Mary Jane (Vince) Del Signore of Poland; a brother, Robert (Ann) Cammack in Texas; a brother-in-law, Bill Kessler of Poland, and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his dog and faithful companion, Winny.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Kessler and his uncle, Lloyd Cammack.

Friends will be received from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday May 28 at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
