Poland - William E. Brush, 80, died March 31, 2012, peacefully at his residence.
Mr. Brush was born April 12, 1931 in Youngstown, a son of Merle and Catherine Olsafsky Brush.
He was a 1949 Rayen High School graduate. He was owner and operator of Morgan Adjustable Recoil Pad Company before retiring in 2004. William was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a great fan of YSU sports and was avid golfer; and also enjoyed costume woodworking.
William's life was dedicated to serving his family and others. He will be sadly missed by his family and those that knew him.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, Michael (Barbara) Brush of Youngstown, Stephanie (Mark) McMurray of Canfield, Stacie (Stephen) Zarbaugh of Poland, Damion (Deborah) Brush of Moore, SC, Leonard(Katherine) Brush Jr.of Manassas, VA, David Brush of Caffville, PA, and Lisa (Eugene) Cook of Youngstown; and sister in-law, Arlene Brush of Youngstown; and nine great nieces and nephews, who loved him like a grandfather.
Besides his parents, William, was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Leonard Brush.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday 10AM at St. Cyril and Methodius Church, 252 E. Wood St. Youngstown. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
