William Botsko, 86 Struthers- William Botsko, 86, formerly of Grandview Avenue died Thursday evening in St. Elizabeth Health Center. Mr. Botsko was born December 14, 1919 in Struthers, a son of John and Mary Sekerak Botsko and had been a life long resident. He had been a desk assembler at the former General Fireproofing Company, retiring in 1982 after forty three years. Mr. Botsko was a World War II veteran serving in the Army in the Alution Islands as a radar technician. He was a 1938 graduate of Struthers High School where he played football and basketball. He maintained an interest in sports as an avid fast pitch softball player with the Lo-X and Youngstown Sheet and Tube teams. He followed all sports, enjoyed fishing and was family oriented with his brothers, sisters and nieces and nephews. He leaves three sisters, Mary Klesch of North Lima, Susan Palan of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Helen (Albert) Marconi of Poland; three brothers, Andrew Botsco and Edward Charles Botsko both of Boardman, James ( Mary Jane) Botsko of Gallatin, Tennessee and nineteen nieces and nephews and his dear friend Mary Revak of Boardman. A sister Anna and three brothers, John Botsco, Joseph Botsko and Stephen Botsko are deceased. Funeral Services will begin with Prayers at 9:15 AM Monday at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and then process to the Infant Jesus of Prague Church in Boardman for a Mass at 10:00 AM. Following the mass, burial with Military Honors will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 PM Sunday where the Parastas will be celebrated by Msgr.
