Willabell âa�A"Billieâa�A� Allen, 82 Struthers- Willabell Allen, 82, died Tuesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. She was born in Etowah, Tennessee May 5, 1922 ,a daughter of William A. and Minnie P. Newton Smith. Mrs. Allen was a 1941 graduate of Struthers High School, where she was in the National Honor Society. She was a Dental Assistant for Dr. Dixon in Struthers and also worked at Wittenauerâa�a��s Drug Store and various floral companies. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family. Her husband, Bernerd L. Allen, whom she married November 20, 1941, died August 1998. She leaves one daughter, Myra Jane (Robert) McClain of California; one son Kenneth B. (Pamela) Allen of Struthers; one sister, Virginia (Bill) Northall of Lowellville; three grandchildren, Sherry Lee Beight, Debra Jane Kovach, and James B. Beight; and four great-grandchildren, Michael Kovach III, Amanda Elizabeth Kovach, Jenna Beight, and Sarah Beight. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Arvel Smith. Funeral services will be Monday 11 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. Friends may call Sunday from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
