W. Richard Moore, 77 POLAND- W. Richard Moore, 77, of 3031 Spitler Rd., died early Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. He was born in Coitsville February 15, 1926, a son of Howard L. and Edna Alice Lindsay Moore. He was a life long area resident. Mr. Moore was a 1944 graduate of Scienceville High School. He went onto attend Bethany College in West Virginia. He was plant manager at Plexco Company in North Lima for 29 years, retiring in the early 90âa�a��s. He was a member of the Poland Presbyterian Church, where he was a former deacon. He worked at the Canfield Fair in various positions for over 40 years. He enjoyed watching sports, antiques, woodworking and gardening. Mr. Moore served his country during WWII as a pilot in the United States Navy. He leaves his wife the former, Ina M. Freely, whom he married February 9, 1952; one daughter, Kay E. (Christopher) Wright of Poland; two sons, Kenneth B. (Marilyn) Moore of Berthoud, CO and Jeffery H. (Beth) Moore of Birmingham, AL; one sister, Martha (Edward) Ratell of Poland; one brother, James H. (Barbara) Moore of Poland; and six grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Peggy L. Moore of Poland. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert A. Moore. Funeral services will be Saturday 10 AM at the Poland Presbyterian Church Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Saturday 9:00- 9:45 AM at the Poland Presbyterian Church. Memorial Tributes may be given to the American Diabetes Association, 1815 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44313; American Heart Association, 840 Southwestern Run Boardman, OH 44512, or the Poland Presbyterian Church, 2 Poland Manor, Poland, OH 44514.
