Lowellville - Vivian L. Lewis, 90 of Lowellville, died March 1, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mrs. Lewis was born April 25, 1922 in Harman, WV, a daughter of Willie and Ethel Varner Hinkle.
She moved to the area in the 1955. She worked various jobs ,but mainly was a homemaker.
Vivian loved gardening, reading, and enjoyed spending time with her family especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her husband, David Junior Lewis, whom she married in 1942, died Nov. 5, 1998.
She is survived by one son, Charles (Lynda) Lewis of Poland; one sister, Nola Richards of Melbourne, FL; two daughter-in-laws, Eileen Lewis and June Lewis; one son-in-law, Louis "Jim" Cline; nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, William "Bill" and Richard "Jack" Lewis; one daughter, Patricia "Patty" Cline; and two brothers, Loy "Buck" Hinkle and William "Buzz" Hinkle; and two sister -in-laws, Twilia "Tod" Hinkle and Phyllis Hinkle.
Services will be held at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home Lowellville, Wednesday at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Lowellville Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00-10:45AM at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the staff at Masternick Health Care Center for the excellent care that Vivian received during her stay.
