Virginia “Ginny” Lee Paskey, 73
NEW MIDDLETOWN - Virginia “Ginny” Lee Paskey, 73, died March 12, 2017, at Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House.
Ginny was born Feb. 25, 1944, in Youngstown, a daughter of Ken and Betty Guttridge Jones.
She was a 1962 Boardman High School graduate. Ginny was a homemaker and loved being a wife and mother. She was a talented quilter and sewer and turned her passion into a craft business “A Pinch of Ginger,” which she had for over 10 years.
Ginny and her husband, Bob, were members of the Tri County Four Wheelers in Lisbon, where they enjoyed camping and four wheeling. Later in life, she took great pleasure living in the country where she could shop for antiques, garden and have picnics on her deck alongside her family and beloved cats.
She is survived by one son, Ken Paskey of Poland; one daughter, Linda Paskey of Columbus; and one sister, Barb Ormiston of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Robert “Bob” Paskey, whom she married in 1964, died in 2012.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. in Boardman, with the Rev. Joanne Dota officiating.
Burial will be at Lake Park Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, March 15, 2017, from 5 to 7 p.m. and Thursday, March 16, 2017, from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
