Virginia Mae Pritchard, 93
POLAND - Virginia Mae Pritchard, 93, died Jan. 6, 2015.
Mrs. Pritchard was born Feb. 24, 1921, in Youngstown, a daughter of Hugh and Anna May Gamble Pritchard.
Virginia was a resident of Girard, where she graduated from Girard High School. Virginia went on to attend Youngstown College of Secretarial School.
She met and married Benjamin Pritchard Sr., Oct. 17, 1947.
They spent their married life in Poland, where they both were active members of the Poland United Methodist Church.
Virginia played bridge and was a member of the Youngstown Bridge Club.
Besides her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Pritchard Sr., who died Oct. 12, 2003; her son, Benjamin Pritchard Jr.; and two brothers, Thomas and Russell Pritchard.
She is survived by one daughter, Dr. Carol (Dr. Steven) Kagel of Weatogue, Conn.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at Poland Riverside Cemetery, Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. with Pastor Michael Grant officiating.
Arrangements are being handled the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Homes, Poland Chapel.
