Virginia M. Hartsock, 80 Struthers- Virginia M. Hartsock, 80, of 542 5th Street, died Sunday evening at her residence. Mrs. Hartsock was born April 21, 1922 in Lowellville, a daughter of Calvin and Molly Summers Webb. She was a life-long area resident. She was a 1940 graduate of Struthers High School and attended Youngstown Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse for over 34 years retiring in 1977 from St. Elizabeth Medical Center. During World War II, while her husband was serving in the Pacific, she worked in various hospitals in California and Seattle, Washington attending to the War Veterans. She was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church. Besides her husband Marshall âa�A"Redâa�A� Hartsock, whom she married February 23, 1943 she leaves two daughters, Karen (Thomas) Moore of Youngstown and Pamela (Richard) Moore of Canfield; five grandchildren, Brian Moore, Heidi Woolweaver, Amy Cady, Robert Hartsock and Stephanie Butler and four great-grandchildren, Jared Moore, Ryan Woolweaver, Zachary and Erin Cady. One brother Robert Webb preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
