Vincent T. Markovich

Vincent T. Markovich, 89 Struthers- Vincent T. Markovich, 89, of Shepherd of the Valley, formerly of Fifth Street died Sunday morning at the nursing home. Mr. Markovich was born May 30, 1914 in Struthers, a son of Stephen and Stana Yallich Markovich. He was a life-long area resident of Struthers. He had worked at Sharon Steel for 18 years and then was a foreman at F.A. Pilgrim Aluminum Extrusion in Youngstown for 38 years. He was a graduate of Struthers High school and a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. His wife the former Mary Hetmanski whom he married June 24, 1939 is deceased. He leaves one sister, Stella Chupa of Canfield and Edward Markovich of Struthers. Besides his parents and spouse, three brothers, Joseph, Michael and Stephen preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:00 am at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:30 am at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Friends may call Friday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
