Poland - Vincent E. Spinosa, III, 52, of Poland, passed away Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Spinosa was born June 24, 1959 in Youngstown, a son of Vincent E. and Kathleen Shurilla Spinosa, Jr.
A 1979 graduate of Poland Seminary High School, Mr. Spinosa worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for Aluminum Color Ind. for over 30 years and also Aztec Manufacturing.
He was a member of the Holy Family Parish in Poland. Mr. Spinosa loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. He enjoyed his dogs, Saddie and Holly, cooking, and working in his yard.
He leaves his wife, the former Elenie Vaparides, whom he married May 24, 1986; his daughter, Amanda Lynn Spinosa at home; mother, Kathleen Spinosa Lazor of Boardman; grandmother, Helen Shurilla of Boardman; brother, Anthony (Marcia) Spinosa of Manteno, IL; two sisters, Jeanne (Gary) Lazor of South Riding, VA and Dr. Lisa (Chris) Kochis of Lexington, KY; and many loving family members, including several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Vincent E. Spinosa, Jr.; maternal grandfather, Stephen Shurilla, Jr.; and paternal grandparents, Vincenzo and Philomena Spinosa.
A prayer service will be held Friday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Parish with Msgr. William Connell officiating.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
