Youngstown - Veronica H. Parry, 63, of Youngstown, passed away to be home with the Lord, Tuesday evening at the Briarfield Manor.
Mrs. Parry was born September 24, 1948 in Youngstown, a daughter of Sortino and Helen Pisella Iannucci.
A graduate of Struthers High School, Mrs. Parry owned and operated the former Roni's Restaurant in Coitsville. She was a member of the Faith Community Church in Youngstown and member and past Madame President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #213. Mrs. Parry enjoyed cooking, reading, playing cards, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband John Parry Sr., whom she married October 2, 1965 died June 14, 2008. She leaves four sons, John Parry Jr. of Youngstown, Mathew (Kellie) Parry of Struthers, Dean (Renee) Parry of Canfield, and Bobby Parry of Youngstown; one daughter, Rebecca Parry of Youngstown; three grandchildren, Courtney Capan, Ryan Parry, and Connor Garrison; one brother, Pasqual Iannucci of Youngstown; and one sister, Flo Petrella of Midland, MI.
Besides her parents and husband, Mrs. Parry was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Iannucci and one sister, Mary Jane Shushok.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 am at the Faith Community Church. Interment will follow at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Lowellville, Ohio.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 5-8 pm at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers and Wednesday from 10:00 am until 10:45 am at the church.
