Tyrene Marie Rogers

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Tyrene Marie Rogers announces her passing on Thursday, December 7, 2017, at the age of sixty-one years. A native of New Castle, Pennsylvania, Tyrene attended Westminster College and graduated with degrees in mathematics and business in 1977. After graduation, she worked at IBM for thirty years, retiring in 2007. She married her husband and best friend on May 7, 1982.

Tyrene will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her husband of thirty-five years, Paul and her two children, Paul (Daniela) and Christina (Michael). She will also be fondly remembered by her two stepdaughters, Casey (Billy) and Lea (Erik), as well as her step-grandchildren, Michaela, Madison, Kyle, and Quincy. Tyrene also leaves behind a close-knit group of extended family and friends. All those who knew Tyrene were touched by her warmth and spirit. Those who were blessed to be a part of her life will never forget the long nights of euchre, spontaneous road trips, devotion to her pets, and her boundless energy and enthusiasm. Tyrene is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary, as well as her step-granddaughter, Marissa.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, December 15, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N Main St., Poland.

A prayer service will be held on Saturday, December 16 at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Rd., Poland.
