(Treva) Maxine Esarco, 89 passed away on March 24 with her loving family by her side.
Maxine was born February 12, 1928 in Jefferson, Ohio, a daughter of John Harold Hartman and Naomi Irene Miller Hartman. Maxine graduated in 1945 from Lowellville High School and attended Kent State University.
She married Gerald Esarco on February 7, 1948.
Maxine was a 40-year member of the Women's Society of Christian Service of the Lowellville United Methodist Church where she was a lifelong parishioner, Sunday School Teacher and officer. She was also one of the original members of the Puella Card Club and a Girl Scout Troop Leader. She was a homemaker and after her children were grown, became a nanny.
She and her husband traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Americas reaching all 50 states, some in their motor home. Maxine enjoyed working crossword puzzles, playing cards and was a grammar fanatic.
Maxine enjoyed spending time with her family and attending all of their activities. She looked forward to celebrating and passing on family traditions.
Her family was her life! She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Esarco was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald of 57 years, her parents and her brother John Junior.
Maxine leaves three daughters, Sherry (Robert) Giovanni,Geri (Daniel) Yates and Pam (John) Hrusovsky all of Lowellville; a brother, Robert of Mentor and a sister Katharine Edwards of Hubbard; eight grandchildren, Michelle (Joan) and Rob (Allyson) Giovanni, Dawn Borkes, Danielle and D.J. Yates, Gerrod (fiance Lauren McCann) and Andi Hrusovsky; three great-grandchildren Riley, Jaxon and Gio.
The family would like to thank all the people who helped Maxine with her care.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lowellville United Methodist Church with Rev. Kathryn T. Adams officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Lowellville.
Friends and family may call Monday from 4-7 p.m. and Tuesday from 10-10:30 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville.
