Thomasina H. âa�A"Inaâa�A� Blackiston Austintown- Thomasina H. Blackiston, 78 of Omni Manor formerly of Colonial Estates in Poland died Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mrs. Blackiston, best known as Ina, was born April 25, 1927 in Methil, Scotland, a daughter of Thomas P. and Isabella Johnston Hill. She came to the United States and to Youngstown in November of 1928. She was a graduate of South High School and worked at Ohio Edison and then Bank One where she retired. She was a homemaker. Ina was an avid golfer and was a founding member of the Fonderlac Country Club. She was a member of the Bears Club and enjoyed playing bridge. Her husband Lee F. Blackiston whom she married February 15, 1952 died March 19, 1983. She leaves three daughters, Cynthia (Rick) Rohrbaugh and Janey (Stuart)Wilson-Chester both of Poland and Tomi (Ed) Beach of Boardman; two sisters, Mrs. John P. Kelly of Youngstown and Mrs. Edward P. Costello of Canfield; seven grandchildren, Kelly, Carolyn, Lee, Abbey, Tim, Jamie, Scott and one great-granddaughter Madeline. Besides her parents and husband one brother, Thomas B. Hill preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Thursday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
