Thomas P. Young, 70 Salem- Thomas P. Young, 70, beloved husband, father and grandfather, of Plymouth Place died Monday morning at his residence after a battle with leukemia. Mr. Young was born October 30, 1936 in Boardman, a son of Dewey William and Lorena Belle Hull Young. He was a 1954 graduate of Boardman High School and graduated from Bethel College in St. Paul MN with a Sociology Degree. He was an electrician at St. Luke Hospital in Cleveland and a Biomedical Engineering Technician in Toledo prior to Plant operations and construction management for Sharon, Northside and Salem Hospitals. He was a member of Community Bible Church in Beloit and Bethel Friends Church in Poland. He was a member of Salem Rotary Club. Mr. Youngâa�a��s main focus in life was providing spiritual leadership and Godly example to his children and grandchildren. He was a prayer warrior for his family, friends, co-workers and acquaintances. He is survived by his wife the former Wanda Panter whom he married September 27, 1958, three daughters, Sherri and husband Herb Chapman and grandchildren Paul, Rachel, Andrew, Leah, and Thomasson Chapman of Franklin, TN, Paula and husband Dean McDaniel and grandchildren, Jordan, Savannah, Lacey, Ashley, and Canaan McDaniel, Beth and husband Steve Queen and grandchildren, Chloe and Madeleine Queen of Poland; and brother and sister-in-law James and Ardy Young of San Diego, CA. Besides his parents, Mr. Young was preceded in death by one sister Doris Cramer and brother-in-law, Frank Cramer. Funeral services will be Thursday, 11:00 AM at the Community Bible Church in Beloit. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland and Thursday from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM in church. Condolences may be sent at
