Struthers - Thomas S. "Tommy" Jones, 45, of Struthers, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at his parent's home. Mr. Jones was born Friday, August 23, 1963 in Youngstown, a son of Thomas E. and Emma W. Hallewell Jones. He was a 1981 graduate of Struthers High School, where he sang in its choir and was a member of the drama club. He worked at the Eyeglass Factory and then worked at the Laundry Stop on Youngstown-Poland Road. Mr. Jones also worked for the Youngstown Play House, where he was a stage hand. He was a member of St. John the Episcopal Church in Youngstown, where he sang in its choir for ten years and was a member of the church's Boars Head and Yule Log Festival. He leaves his parents of Struthers; two sisters, Jennifer Jones of Struthers and Carole (Mark) Myers of Vandalia; one nephew, Mick Myers; one niece, Carlie Myers; aunts and uncles, James and Jane Jones, Blanche Barnhizer, Howard and Jeffie Hallewell, Aunt Alberta and Aunt Goldie; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts and uncles, Albert and Bill Hallewell, Florence Durbin, Fred Jones, Mildred Bradley, and Bob Bradley. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service, Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the St. John's Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave, in Youngstown.
