Thomas W. Steele âa�" 68 YOUNGSTOWN, Thomas W. Steele, 68 of 4391 Lanterman Rd, died Tuesday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mr. Steele was born in Youngstown, a son of Warren A. and Alison G. Cuthbertson Steele, and was a life long area resident. He had worked as a Supervisor for Republic Hose before its closing. Mr. Steele was a 1955 graduate of Struthers High School, where he was inducted into the Struthers High School Hall of Fame for Basketball, and attended Youngstown State University. He was a member of the Four Mile Run Christian Church, and the Eagles. He golfed on the Elmton Golf League, and was an avid pinochle player, and sports fan. He truly enjoyed all sports. He is survived by his wife, the former Rachel Hoagland, whom he married November 5, 1977, four daughters, Marybeth (Thomas) Williams of Twinsburg, Michele (Gaston) Garcia of Atlanta, GA., Amy Fluent of Warren, OH., Marian Steele of Youngstown, two sons, Thomas (Nina) Steele of Youngstown, Kevin Steele of Youngstown, one sister Alyce âa�A"Susieâa�A� (Jerry) Kaster of Chesterfield, MO; five grandchildren, Alexis Garcia; Rachel Garcia; Malorie Fluent; Madison Fluent; and Thomas William Steele, II, and one sister-in-law, Marian Hoagland of Youngstown. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Dolores Norberg; Emma Jean Morris, and one brother Warren Steele. Family and friends may call from 4-7 Friday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Funeral Services will be Saturday at the Four Mile Run Christian Church, at 11:00, friends may call from 10:00 âa�" 10:45. Condolences may be sent at www.beckerobits.com
