THOMAS R. GOUGH, JR âa�" 83 STRUTHERS âa�" Thomas R. Gough, Jr., 83, of Struthers. died Sunday morning at Boardman Specialty Care. Mr. Gough was born July 17, 1923 in Petersburg, a son of Thomas R. Gough, Sr., and Katherine Antibus Gough. He was a life long Struthers resident. He was a 1941 graduate of Struthers High School and a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church. Mr. Gough was a WWII Army Air Corps. Veteran. He was a Power Turret and Gunsight Mechanic and a Pistol and Carbine Sharpshooter. He received the American Theater Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He was a Machinist for Sherwin Williams and then US Can. He retired in 1984 after 36 years. He enjoyed fishing and fixing things. He is survived by his wife, the former Rita Branam, whom he married November 2, 1971; one son, Thomas R. (Nancy) Gough, III of Struthers; two daughters, Wendy (Dr. James) Haun of Vienna and Tracy (Nicholas) Blinsky of Poland; one sister, Katherine (Herman) Bushong of Poland; and seven grandchildren. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, the former June Marie Lechleiter; one grandson, Thomas R. Gough, IV; a daughter, Kelly L. King; a daughter-in-law, Martha âa�A"Laverneâa�A� Gough; a brother, Harry Gough; and two sisters, Alice Jackson and Mary Reedy. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where funeral services will he held Wednesday at 10:00 AM.
