Thomas H. Boland âa�" 58 STRUTHERSâa�"Thomas H. Boland, 58, of 28 Wilson St., died Saturday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Boland was born on September 17, 1948 in Youngstown, a son of Gilbert H. & Jane D. Mote Hays Boland. He was a 1965 graduate of Struthers High School, a Viet Nam Army Veteran, and worked as a Diesel Mechanic for 26 years with the Marucci & Gaffney Excavating. Mr. Boland was a train enthusiast, and enjoyed camping, and playing guitar by the fire side. Mr. Boland is survived by his mother Jane, his wife, the former Karin M. Haag, whom he married May 31, 1971, one son, Shawn T. Boland of Youngstown, a daughter Amie L. Boland of New Hampshire, one sister Margaret L. (Dennis) Gratton of Youngstown, two brothers, Hugh G. (Beverly) Boland of Struthers, Chester A. Boland of Youngstown, and numerous nieces and nephews Mr. Boland is preceded in death by his father, and sister in law, Josephine Boland. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements by Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
