Struthers - Theresa Andrevich, 81, of Struthers, formerly of Lowellville, died Tuesday, November 27, at the Specialty Care Unit at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown.
Theresa, affectionately known as Dolly, was born December 14, 1930 in Lowellville, a daughter of George and Mary Pretoka Such. She resided in Lowellville most of her life until moving to Struthers 4 years ago.
She attended Lowellville High School and was a homemaker. Dolly loved caring for her family, polka dancing, playing bingo and listening to Engelbert Humperdink. She was a life member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church.
Her husband of 61 years, Joseph Andrevich, whom she married February 18, 1947, died June 14, 2008. Dolly leaves one daughter, Diane (John) Ross of Lordstown; two sons, Joe (Bonnie) Andrevich of Denver, CO and Robert Andrevich of Orlando, FL; one brother, George Such of Youngstown;
four grandchildren, John J. Ross, Theresa Ross, Jamie Andrevich, and Callie (Brett) Rickerman; and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Rickerman.
Besides her parents and husband, Dolly was preceded in death by four sisters, Margaret Rohal, Mae Gray, Gloria Zalewski, and Anna Cicchillo; and three brothers, Stanley, Joe and Steve Potisuk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville with Fr. John Jerek officiating. Interment will follow at the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Friends will be received Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville, where a prayer service will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m.
