Thelma Helen Cook, 91 Youngstown- Thelma Helen Cook, 91, formerly of Elm Street, Struthers died Friday afternoon at Carrington South Health Care Center. Mrs. Cook was born March 21, 1911, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Anna Kalt. She grew up and attended school in the area, moving away and returning to Struthers in 1972 from Hagerstown, MD. She worked as a housekeeper and as a custodian for Youngstown City Schools. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and a member of the St. Nicholas Senior Citizens. Besides her husband the late Robert Cook, whom she married April 5, 1940, and who died June 17, 1972, she is survived by two daughters: Theresa Thornton of Belmont, CA; Delores Kyle; a son: John Miller of Austintown; Special friends of 35 years: Evelyn Dill of Poland; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A brother: John Stowe precedes her in death. A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Tuesday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
