Terry L McInnis

April 17, 1963 — August 3, 2015

Boardman - Terry L. McInnis, died following a courageous battle with cancer on August 3, 2015 with her family by her side. Terry was born April 17, 1963 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of James and Carolyn Deemer McInnis.

She was a 1981 graduate of Youngstown South High School and worked as an office manager for After Hours Animal Emergency Clinic. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Youngstown and enjoyed painting, cooking and music. She embraced her Irish heritage and was an "honorary Puerto Rican". She had a love for animals and her family and took in many of her children's friends to comfort and care for them. She was a Mother to many and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She leaves her two sons, Jacob and Tyler Dogoda; her daughter, Paige Dogoda; her parents, James and Carolyn McInnis; three sisters, Denise (Richard) Rucci, Michelle (Brian) Treharne and Desiree (Christopher) Kinser; three brothers, James Michael (Sandra) McInnis, Marc (Brenda) McInnis and Shawn McInnis; several nieces and nephews; her closest and dearest friends, Willie and Delia Rosa and sons, Willie and Michael and many other close family and friends who meant so much to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore S. Dogoda.

A memorial service will be held on Friday at 11am at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. Boardman with the Rev. Fr. Kevin Peters officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Park Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 5-7pm and prior to the service from 10-10:45am on Friday at the funeral home.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Hospice of the Valley for the wonderful care that was given to Terry during this difficult time.
