Tassie Lawrence

Tassie Lawrence, 84 Poland- Tassie Lawrence, 84, of 7314 North Lima Rd. died early Friday morning at her residence. Mrs. Lawrence was born in Hillsville, PA October 11, 1921, a daughter of Yakim and Olga Berdy. She worked at the Strouss Department Store and was a member of Holy Family Church. Her husband Joseph E., whom she married in 1944, died in 1995. She leaves a son, William of Poland and four grandchildren, Hayley, Cathy, Gregory, and Robert. She was preceded in death by her daughter Carol Ann Bieterman; 3 sisters, Ann Berdy, Mary Kennedy, and Helen Kotchmar; two brothers, John Berdy and William Berdie. Funeral services will be Tuesday 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland. Family and friends may call one hour prior at the funeral home.
