Suzanne C. (Scheetz) McIntyre

September 21, 1944 — January 6, 2016

Youngstown- Suzanne C. McIntyre, 71, passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 6, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family.

Suzanne was born September 21, 1944 in Youngstown, a daughter of Donald and Lucille Kramer Scheetz.

A 1962 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Suzanne worked at Youngstown Hospital Association in numerous capacities for over 27 years. She started in the medical billing department and later worked as secretary and office manager in physical therapy. She was also a teacher's aide in the Ravenna School systems for numerous years.

Suzanne was a volunteer for the Beatitude House, Hospice of the Valley Hospice House and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana. In her free time she loved traveling, antique shopping, and dining. She loved searching out new restaurants to try. She was an avid reader and currently was researching her family history and geneology. Suzanne never met a stranger, she enjoyed people and spending time with family and friends. .

Suzanne's husband, Richard McIntyre, whom she married April 29, 1978 died September 6, 2000. She leaves one daughter, Kristin Craig; one son, Eric Craig; three nephews, Clark (Heidi) James, Robert (Molly) James, and James (Beth) McIntyre; one niece, Kimberly (Richard) Early; two brothers-in-law, James McIntyre and Dick James; sister-in-law, Beverly McIntyre; and beloved great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marilyn James; brother-in-law, Thomas McIntyre; and an infant son, Mark David Craig.

A prayer services will be held Monday, 9:15 AM at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana.

Family and friends will be received Sunday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
