Susan Kenash

Susan Kenash, 95 Boardman- Susan Kenash, 95, of Ron Joy Nursing Home, formerly of Dobbins Road in Poland, died Monday morning at the nursing home. Miss Kenash was born May 30, 1910 in Campbell, a daughter of John and Anna Hura Kenash. She was a lifetime area resident. She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and received her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Kent State University and her Masters in Education from Westminster College. Miss Kenash was a teacher for the Reed Elementary School in the Campbell City School District for 39 years retiring in 1970. She was a member of the Local, State and National Education Association and was a member of the Poland AARP. She was a member of John Calvin St. Paul United Church of Christ. Miss Kenash leaves two sisters, Eleanor Stanislav of Youngstown and Elaine Margol of Arlington Hts., Illinois; 8 nieces and one nephew. Besides her parents, two sisters, Mary Metzka and Anna McJunkin preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Saturday 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral, Poland.
