Susan Kay (Montella) Dorman

Struthers - Susan Kay (Montella) Dorman, 50 of Struthers, died March 13, 2009 at her residence with her family at her side. Mrs. Dorman was born August 31, 1958 in Youngstown, OH, daughter of Joseph and Barbara Humphreys Montella and was a life long area resident. She was a 1976 Graduate of Ursuline High School . Mrs. Dorman was a member of the Faith Fellowship Church of God, where she was the church secretary, and was a leader of its youth group. She had served on the board of Youngstown Head Start Program and was a chaplain for Forum Health. Mrs. Dorman was a wedding planner, caterer, and photographer and loved to volunteer and crafts and was a friend to everybody she met. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband, Gordon Dorman Jr. of Struthers, three sons, Brian Nelson of Port St. Lucie, FL; Bobby (Donielle) Nelson of Cleveland and Christopher (fiancé, Brittany) Dorman of Struthers; one daughter, Mara Dorman, at home; two brothers, Stephen (Yvonne) Montella and Joseph Montella Jr. both of Campbell, her father and mother in law, Arlie Sr., and Annette Dorman of Youngstown three grandchildren; Laci, Emmalee, Lily. she is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by two infant sons Joshua and Michael Dorman, her maternal grandparents, Harold and Virginia "Yoohoo" Humphreys and Paternal grandparents Stephen and Mary Montella. Friends will be received Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers, where funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 am. family and friends will also be received Tuesday from 9:30 - 10:15 am.
