Sue Ann DeCesare Stricklin, 72 Struthers- Sue Ann DeCesare Stricklin, 72 of 416 10th Street, died early Tuesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Sue was born March 11, 1933 in Struthers, a daughter of Allan and Ella Galbreath Newton. She was a life-long resident of Struthers. She was a 1952 graduate of Struthers High School where she was President of her class. For many years she was a librarian for the Struthers City School District. Sue was trustee for the Struthers Moms Club, Struthers Alumni Association, President of Struthers PTA, Manor Ave. PTA, and Fifth Street School PTA. She was a volunteer for the election polls for the Republican Party and was a member of the Struthers United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She is survived by five sons, Danny (Annette) DeCesare of Boardman, David (Denise) DeCesare of Struthers, Doug (Lori) DeCesare of Lowellville, Ray (Lisa) Stricklin of Austintown and Bill (Melissa) Stricklin of Moss Point, Mississippi; one sister, Letha Blackwell of Youngstown; one brother Richard Newton of Port St. John, Florida; and seven grandchildren. Besides her parents, Mrs. Stricklin was preceded in death by three sisters, Emiline Dennis, Sally Wonderly and Nancy Oâa�a��Hara, and one brother Robert Newton. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Struthers United Methodist Church.
