Steven E. Gill

Poland - Steven E. Gill, 59, passed away on February 29, 2024.  

Steven was born July 29, 1964 in Washington, PA, the son of the late James and Ann (Hamilton) Gill.

He was a resident of Pennsylvania until moving to the Youngstown area in 2011. 

Steven was a roofer for Bronson Roofing Company in Oakdale, PA for 12 years and  later worked for Lake Park Tool & Die in Boardman for four years.   

Steven was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He enjoyed spending time with his family as well as riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing billiards, enjoyed listening to rock and country music, and just recently, started learning how to play the drums.  

Steven is survived by his wife of thirteen years, the former Cindy L. Bennett, whom he married on June 8, 2011; a son, John  (Rachel) Gill of Atlasburg, PA; four daughters, Renee  Gill of Burgettstown, PA, Lora (Richard Pavicic, III) Gill of Oakdale, PA, Stephanie  Wright of Youngstown, OH, and Tina (David) Schragal of Boardman, OH; fourteen grandchildren, Ronald Brown, III, Eric Brown, Khloe Gill, Savannah Gill, Connor Gill, Levi Gill, Mila Pavicic, Kali Pavicic, Tyler (Autumn) Seitz, Faith Seitz, Jazzlynn Schragal, Alaina Schragal, Isaac Morris and Dominance Wright; four great-grandchildren, Shane Burton, Oliver Seitz, Athena Patterson, and Freya Patterson; three brothers, Timmy (Margaret) Gill of Steubenville, OH, Gary (Juanita) Gill of Weirton, WV, and Shawn Gill of Steubenville, OH; and a sister, Lori Gill of Steubenville, OH. 

Besides his parents, Steven was preceded in death by a son, Scott A. Gill; and a brother, Scott Gill.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring Street in  Struthers.
