Sondra L. Meikle

Green, OH - Sondra L Meikle, 74, of Green, formerly of Canfield, died June 15, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Meikle was born April 2, 1942 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Larry and Eleanor Workman Ziegler.

Sondra grew up in Youngstown area and also resided in Punta Gorda, FL for 30 years, and she currently lived in Green.

She was a 1960 graduate of Boardman High School and attended Youngstown State University.

Sondra was a homemaker and she was the bookkeeper for the family restaurant Mr. Wheeler's Restaurant in Youngstown for years.

She was an active member of Boardman United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Punta Gorda, FL.

Sondra enjoyed dancing, boating, bible studies, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a great sense of humor.

She leaves her husband, Ronald, whom she married Feb. 28, 1962; three daughters, Sondra (Daniel) Clevenger of Green, Stephanie Montalto of Green, and Suzen (Steve) Woolley of Canfield; one brother, L. David (Diana) Ziegler of Punta Gorda, FL; and seven grandchildren, Kyle Clevenger, Alexandra (Dominic) Klingshirn, Nicholas Montalto, Austin, Spencer, Blake, and Mya Woolley.

Besides her parents, Sondra was preceded in death by one nephew, David Ziegler.

Services will be held at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St., Boardman, Saturday at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Friends and family will be received Saturday from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the funeral home.
