Shirley Ann Linebaugh

Youngstown - Shirley Ann Linebaugh, passed away, April 18, 2024, with her family at her side, at Hospice of the Valley's, Hospice House.
Shirley was born September 22, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio, one of twelve children to the late Charles and Mary Magan Reedy.
Raised in Struthers, Shirley was a graduate of Struthers High School, Class of 1950. On February 6, 1954, Shirley married Ray "Skip" Linebaugh and happily stepped into the role of a homemaker to her husband and four children. A wonderful mother, Shirley was present for all her children's activities, milestones, and achievements. An active and bright woman, Shirley also worked outside the home, first as a secretary for US Steel, and later for Mahoning Paint Corporation. She also worked as a sales clerk for JCPenney. Shirley graciously gave her time volunteering for Hospice of the Valley, as well as volunteering her time in the church office and alongside her husband, Skip's ministry.
In her free time, Shirley enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, jigsaw puzzles, and playing Chinese checkers, never losing a match.
Shirley leaves to carry on her legacy, her four children, Debra (Edgar) Havaich of Mineral Ridge, Mark Linebaugh of Youngstown, Todd (Diane) Linebaugh of Mineral Ridge, and Scott (Gaby) Linebaugh of Las Vegas, NV; six grandchildren, Amy Havaich, Kimberly (Larry) Tremayne, Kristin Havaich of Mineral Ridge, Rachel (Alex) Applegate of Austintown, Daniel (fiancée Anna Wiery) Linebaugh of Austintown, and Maria Linebaugh of Las Vegas, NV; and three great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kylee Tremayne, and Braxton Linebaugh.
In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis Bragg, Mary Lou Adams, Henrietta Wood, Margaret Yurick, Bernice Bertschy, Dorothy Mitchell, and Alma Hvisdak; and four brothers, Randy, Lloyd, Clair, and Paul Reedy.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 270 N. Main St., Poland, where a funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Private interment will take place on Monday at Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
