Poland - Shirley S. Frease, 87, died Friday, June 26, 2015 in Hospice of the Valley, Hospice House. She was born May 6, 1928 in Youngstown, daughter of the late George and Selma Anderson Setree.
Shirley worked as a Manager for the Sandwich Factory and also as a cook with Little Forest and Isaly's in Poland. She retired in 2001 as a Pharmacy Tech with the Medicine Place in Poland. She was a Sunday School Teacher at Poland United Methodist Church. Shirley had a vacation home in Madison, OH on Lake Erie, where she spent many happy occasions with family and friends. She enjoyed time at the casino and taking fishing trips with her family to Lady Evelyn Lake in Ontario, Canada. Her most treasured moments were times spent with family.
Surviving are three daughters, Virginia (Ray) Kashmiry of Poland, Donna (Don) Blisard of Poland, Debbie (Mark) Ogden of Boardman; son, Billy (Nancy) Frease of Boardman; nine grandchildren, Ty (Kim) Kashmiry, Kareem (Kelly) Kashmiry, Tiffany Selma Kashmiry, Billy (Carrie) Frease, Callie (Jason) Roberts, Danny Dombroski, Quinn Frease, Chase Blisard, Taylor Ogden; 11 great grandchildren; her two favorite sisters-in-law, Bert and Ella along with her furry grand babies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erwin W. Frease on May 19, 1985, sisters, Evelyn Cunningham, Betty Clement, Sally Mincher, and Virginia Setree and her brother, Bill Setree.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 3, 2015 at 11am at St. James Church in Boardman Park with the Rev. Pamela Buzalka officiating.
Contributions may be made to the Hospice House, Poland or to Angels for Animals in Canfield. The family would like to send a special thank you to St. Elizabeth Health Center and Hospice of the Valley Hospice House for all of their comforting care.
