Sherry Lynn Donofrio

Struthers - Sherry Lynn Donofrio, 44, of Struthers, died unexpectedly Friday, July 22, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Health Center after suffering a massive heart attack.
Sherry was born June 9, 1967 in Youngstown, a daughter of Robert and Kathleen Kohn Evans.
She was a 1985 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Sherry worked as a pharmacy technician for Humility of Mary for 25 years, first at St. Elizabeth in Youngstown, then St. Joseph Cancer Care, and currently at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Sherry will always be remembered as a happy and generous person with a big heart. For the past seven years, she has been a devoted caregiver to her husband and her husband's grandmother. Sherry loved being with her family, vacationing at the beach, and volunteering each year for Relay for Life.
Sherry leaves her husband, Michael E. Donofrio, whom she married May 23, 1986; father and stepmother, Robert and Renee Evans of Leesburg, FL; two children, Sara Donofrio of Poland and Michael V. Donofrio, at home; sister, Shelly (Larry) Kubina of Boardman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers. Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery.
Family and friends will be received Monday from 5-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
