Sarah Jane Mentzer

Sarah Jane Mentzer, 83 Lowellville- Sarah Jane Mentzer, 83, of 2099 Bedford Road, died Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Mrs. Mentzer was born March 1, 1921 in Lowellville, Ohio, a daughter of August J. and Mary A. Korby List. She was a life-long area resident of Lowellville. She was a 1939 graduate of Lowellville High School and was a Homemaker. She was a member of the former Lowellville Presbyterian Church. Her husband John E. Mentzer whom she married May 26, 1939, died May 7, 1974. She leaves two sons, Jim (Barbara) Mentzer of Bridgeville, Pennsylvania and William âa�A"Skipâa�A� (Ellen) Mentzer of Brookfield, Ohio; one brother, Thomas List of Poland; four grandchildren, Lynn Nicholes, Bradley, John, and Jim Mentzer, and one great-grandchild, Megan Nicholes. Funeral services will be Friday, 1:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville. Friends may call Thursday from 3-8 p.m. and Friday from 12:00-12:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
