Poland - Sarah Alice Luteran, 87, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 in Sunrise Assisted Living. She was born February 17, 1928 in Youngstown, daughter of the late, James and Mary Johns Langford and was a 1946 graduate of North High School.
Sarah was a member of Poland United Methodist Church and the Poland Blue Bells Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and spending time with family.
She leaves her two Sons, Jay (Jane) Luteran of Mentor and Michael (Judy) Luteran of Columbiana; grandchildren, Jill (Chris) Horonzy and her family of Mentor and Jeffrey Luteran and his family of Calimesa, CA; and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Luteran of Poland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W Luteran on October 14, 1999 and her brother, James M Langford.
Funeral services will be private for the family. Interment will be in Poland Riverside Cemetery.
The Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland is handling arrangements.
