Sandra Jean DeSalvo, 64 Boardman- Sandra Jean DeSalvo, 64, of Irma Ave, died Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. DeSalvo was born April 7, 1942 in Youngstown, a daughter of William and Johanna Churan Schilling. She was a 1960 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and had worked for Union National Bank and assisted in the kitchen at Cardinal Mooney and the library of St. Nicholas School in Struthers. She was a member of St. Columba Cathedral. Mrs. DeSalvo had a love for baking, and was known by all for her sewing and crocheting. Besides her parents of Struthers, Mrs. DeSalvo is survived by her husband Ronald DeSalvo whom she married September 21, 1968; daughter Christine DeSalvo Miller and her husband Scott of Bay Village; two sisters, Billie Sicafuse of Poland and Patricia Canter of Burghill, Ohio; one brother, William R. Schilling also of Poland; several nieces and nephews and great-nephews. Funeral services will be Friday, 9:15 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and 10:00 AM at St. Columba Cathedral.
